Being realistic about your goals is also important don’t set your sights too high or low out of fear that either outcome will cause disappointment down the line when things don’t turn out how you expected them to go.
For example: if there are two jobs available for which one requires an advanced degree while the other does not require any formal education experience whatsoever other than basic reading comprehension skills since everything else can be taught on-the-job—it doesn’t make sense then why someone would choose not go after getting that degree so they could get paid more money doing essentially nothing different than what they were already doing before…

For example, if your goal isn’t specific enough (e.g., “I want to write more”) then it won’t be clear how you’re going to measure whether or not you’ve accomplished it (how much writing?).
And if something isn’t measurable in some way if there’s no way for us humans on earth here in the present day know if we’ve reached this goal then what good does it do us?
If a task isn’t achievable within our current situation, then why spend time trying? And lastly: time relatedness! Without an end date or deadline attached to our goals, they’ll never get done!
